About
We help business leaders from a non-financial background to gain confidence around finance by simplifying financial jargon. We met over thirty years ago when we qualified as accountants with PwC, and we are passionate to help leaders remove fianance as a barrier to success in careers and business.

Marie Ekerholm
Marie went on to found an online retail and manufacturing business that she successfully exited ten years later. Since then she has coached many business leaders and founders in how to take an idea to market and how to fund it.
Carl Tomlinson
Carl went into industry and ran a metal finishing business with factories in the UK and Europe that he exited five years ago. He is now working as a coach and virtual finance director advising small business owners.
We have both found that many people we have worked with struggle with finance and how that lack of knowledge holds people back in their career progression and business. The consequence of not knowing enough about finance is limiting the influence you have when important strategic decisions are made.
"How come you can run a profitable business but still go bust?" This is just one question we often come across and why we have decided to help people like you make sense of finance.
